Rupal brings her fabulous sense of color, pattern and creativity to her design and graphic work. She has contributed to the success of brands such as Nautica, Liz Claiborne, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Echo and Shabby Chic.
She worked in Italy designing for Chanel, YSL, Hermes, Lancôme, Ungaro and Trussardi. Rupal has a Bachelor of Science in Textile Chemistry and Engineering as well as a Master’s Degree in Textile Design.
Working from her San Francisco based studio, she creates a range of art prints, textile products, DIY kits and paper products. Inspired by her passion for color, textile and travel.
Every product in her collection has story in it’s design as well as in it’s making.
Rupal’s design idea starts with an original sketch or watercolor painting. She loves the process of taking her artwork from her sketch book to your table, your sofa or your wall. Every detail matters to her….she cares about where things are made, how it is printed, where each zipper, twill tape comes from. All fabrics are traditionally hand screen printed or block printed in short runs. Each product is handcrafted & unique. Every art print is individually signed.
